A curated photoshoot across Bay Centre, capturing key retailers, atmosphere, and lifestyle moments that bring the shopping experience to life across web and social.
Bay Centre needed a fresh, versatile photo library that captures the energy of the mall and the variety of its retailers.
We completed a curated photoshoot throughout Bay Centre, capturing a mix of retailers, products, interiors, and lifestyle moments that reflect the feel of shopping downtown Victoria. The goal was to create a flexible image library that Bay Centre can use across web, social media, and promotional campaigns, while keeping the look consistent and on brand. By photographing a range of stores and common areas, we delivered visuals that help Bay Centre highlight variety, atmosphere, and the experience of the space, not just individual products.
The challenge was capturing specific, marketing ready angles across an active mall, including precise documentation of a stair renovation in progress without shoppers faces in the image.
This shoot required precision. We had a detailed shot list that included specific angles for a stair renovation underway, where accurate viewpoints and clean compositions mattered. At the same time, we needed to capture a variety of retailers in a consistent style, including priority locations like Oso Cafe, where the focus was on appetizing food and inviting atmosphere. Working in an active mall meant adapting to changing lighting, foot traffic, and timing constraints while still delivering polished, usable images for marketing and project documentation.

The final deliverable was a curated image library designed for ongoing marketing and content needs. We captured clean, consistent visuals across multiple shops and common areas, creating lifestyle friendly photography that highlights the Bay Centre experience. Alongside retailer coverage, we also documented the stair renovation with precise required angles, ensuring the imagery was usable for updates and project visibility. Key tenants such as Oso Cafe received focused attention, with food and atmosphere shots that feel warm, inviting, and instantly scroll stopping.
